My life in the Aspergers lane. Chaz, my 10 year old was diagnosed with Aspergers when he was 5 years old. It explained a lot but I have so much more to learn to help my son. Seeking answers and documenting my journey here. Be the sunshine for your child when they come home with dark clouds hanging over them. Be the rainbow that brings hope by speaking up for them.
"Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning." Psalm 30:5

Can You See Signs of Autism in Newborns?
I found this really, really interesting short clip and wanted to share with you. What do you think? I think it's worth a shot and early intervention is so important.
I am enjoying the information on your site, as a 30 year old woman recently putting together the pieces of this puzzle that has been my life with (undiagnosed) AS.
I watched the video and agree with your comments about early intervention being key. I can only imagine it would have made a truckload of difference in my life.
The only thing in the video I take issue with is the phrase "make" the child use eye contact with you. This sounds very forced and traumatic, I know if adults had "made" me use eye contact in a harsh way it would have sent me further into my little withdrawn world . Using bribes and treats is ok though! :D
